Not sure when this should go but just thought I would bring it to Habboxes attention that e5and finklestien have both published the same article on Trax. Not sure if this is the right place to put this thread but oh well :D

He's offline Alex, who knows how long it will take before he gets on, and all the time it's still on there :(

Edit: Ooh I can edit this one, I spoke to e5 and he has deleted it

I must apologise for the delay here.

I was informed of the double story within a few minutes of it being published, but due to a transition problem between the accounts of Adzeh and I, I was unable to unpublish it.

I have informed management of these initial gremlins and everything should be running as normal later today.

My apologies once again,

Yum999 (News Manager)

Sorry for that guys. I posted the news and then went off Habbox. I got the PM from Inexorably, and have removed it. If it wasn't for Inex, I wouldn't got around to unpublishing it.

Sorry for the inconvinience.

Problems with permissions happen surprisingly often, and it's really out of our control because we can't do any of it ourselves, we have to wait for the greensies to sort it. Its just an occupational hazard.

Make it so you can only delete 2 articles every 2 or 3 hours then :)

Which is why someone needs to be hired who is nearly always available... Called a Role Manager, or Staff Editor.

Staff editor = Nvr.

I agree we should have one in both timezones

Lol I find it humorous you talk like a robot but you then make up words like "unpublish" that just completely bring you right back down. :P

But there is the option to "unpublish" news..

Ah might be why, nvr does a good job but for a forum with a vast majority of UK members it doesn't really work.

Indeed, i think we should have a "temp" Staff Editor in UK times while nvr is away (offline) and then he takes over at night doing major changes.

Its not that bad, how often is there a change in news manager?

i agree with matt, an editor in both timezones is a great idea. i dont pay attention to the news on habbox, but hundreds of people do. it cant be hard to get someone to check it every hour or so just to make sure everything is fine.

But it isn't a word, whether Habbox tried to invent it or not - it is not a word.

I was only saying I found it funny that he wrote so 'officially' then it just got ruined with the use of unreal words. Okay? :)

In all fairness, thats probably how new words come about on the internet anyway. They get slipped in to a commonly used feature somewhere, and before you know it everyone is saying it.

Perhaps so, but it isn't a word and I was just commenting on it's effect on your post.
