Just wondering how you become a MOD

Are you voted in or do you have to fill out an application when they come out?

You have to fill in an 'Open application' at www.sulake.com.
Since they took down the Safety Moderator/Community Assistent apply ;)

I wonder if they still search them ;)

You become part of a moderation agency (I dunno what they're called) like moderatorsnet and Habbo hires you from that, unless you're otherwise experienced.

You can apply on www.sulake.com and click on careers.

I'm pretty certain you would need to contact Sulake about this matter.

you need to be 18 years old, But I doubt they hire at 18 because low experience so maybe at 20 years old they except moderators.

You also need some qualifications, experience working with children and maybe degrees

If you have been on Habbox a while, that is a plus.

My mother was going to apply for a moderator job when she retired from being a teacher.

You can be 18 and still get the job, if you know what you are doing.

Yes but they never really hire 18 year olds. Someone said its better to have a few years experienced when I emailed a inquiry on it.

You can't gain all the experience you need to be a Moderator in 2 years. Defently if you get degrees that take ages to do.

Lost_Witness became a MOD at 18 I believe.. or support staff.. can't remember.

How is that a plus, Habbo don't exactly enjoy employing people on the basis if they've played habbo because theres the risk of them abusing there powers.

Okay.

Would you own a "computer company" that specializes in making computer cases.

Would you rather hire someone who was fresh out of college, and had an internship at your company, or someone that was fresh out of college, and was looking for a place to work?

I would pick the one that had some experience in the field, as well as knowing how the company works.

A mod I spoke to said you can't have been a habbo user or something.

They accept 18+ but I think experience is required.

Most Ex-Hobbas were automatically qualified to become a MOD, hence why almost all current UK MOD's are Ex-Hobbas e.g. Lost_Witness and Moosemaster (MOD-Moose). Sulake do not allowed normal Habbo Players to become MODs incase they abuse their powers.

He was a gold Hobba.. then went on to be Player Support.. he probably used the 'Moderator' account back then though..
