its only bad if you are a complete reject that uses it to download software, half the programs distributed through limewire is riddled with viruses, as long as you stay away from them then you're fine.

@ the people saying torrents are better - they arent always better. with limewire you can preview files you are downloading, im not sure if this applies to torrents or not because i havent tried it. which means that you dont have to wait for the full thing to download before finding out it was falsely name and you wasted your time

Only worth it if your internet is above or equal to 20mb (which mine is). I use Giganews with NOMP+ and Binsearch.

I just got this because I'm a bit slow on the uptake and didn't want to use the limewire//search limewirepro way because I'm sure people put up dodgy versions and such, but yeah I just got it off DB and it's working fine, don't quite get the accelerator thing though it doesn't seem to do anything
