I live in a part of Dorset where we cannot receive cable broadband.

Does anyone know when it will happen?

Depends if there's a high enough demand and how populated the area is.

With the way technology is moving on, you're certainly gonna get it. Most likely fibre optics cables which are slowly but surely getting more popular.
