Hi,

I have a BT home hub and seem to be experiencing a lot of problems playing FIFA08 online on PS3 through the wireless connection.Very often the connection will be lost during the match, which is becoming very frustrating. Also at the stage where you choose teams the connection quits !
Is this anything to do with the home hub, anyone else had any issues like this?
Help urgently needed!

The hub is the problem. Very poor performance and disconnects frequently.

Well i don't think there is anything you can do apart from get a different hub. Although i'm not sure whether BT will allow you to do that?

I'm not sure...

Could the hub be faulty then?

No, i don't think so. Nearly everyone who I know that has a homehub experiences things exactly the same as you.

But my internet to laptop doesn't cut off?!

Just PS3 connection....

I've tried port forwarding and everything...still does the same.

If you have another router I.E Netgear etc. You can use your internet details to have a connection through your other router. But i have the home hub and havn't had any problems with it?

Phone BT and ask them what they suggest, they might send you a different, more stable router or something because home hubs are utterly ****

I spoke to BT before and they helped me out via Remote Assistance....he said what he did will have sorted the problem.

Did it? No
