music off ipod to desktop?

Hi,

how do you get your music off your IPod to your desktop?

It won't let me!

apple is a security-crazy company, they think they have to make everything really really complicated so that no one does anything they're not supposed to. you actually can't do that. at least not straight from an ipod.

If you go into the hidden files you can get the songs.

It's not the best way but worked when I used it last.
