For example at the St Trinians quiz some X's repeatably entered the room when they know that they should not have.

During the habborella stage there were 40/25 in the dating game event.

It was a joke, foo'! :P I think the X override will be back, but for the time being it'll be manageable. I'm sure there's a system being developed in Sulake Headquarters for the sort of room override powers & others which are related to such. During my time as an X I never once entered any celebrity events and neither did I enter an event held by staff. Why? It is such a shame that the Habbos these days do not share the same view as you. I found since visiting Habbo after a 2 year absence the people have changed, everyone is now so selfish. The majority of the decent characters have left and moved on, rightly so as well.

As for the Xs losing their override ability it had to be coming sooner rather than later. As a fair few seemed to abuse the privilege.

You speak like the stereotypical Habbo X hater. Some of what you're saying I agree with, like don't blame the new X's & the welcoming group was indeed a catalyst for what could be the cause of this. I don't think most Habbo X's are corrupt, there's just a bad name because close to half of them go around with a large ego. That doesn't make them corrupt, it just makes them arrogant and patronising. They've contributed something to the community, but it wasn't anything that couldn't have been contributed by all members of the hotel.

I'm honestly not sure if X's will stay, I think they're pointless and a risk to the companys name as they are practically representing the Sulake name (even though they aren't employees). I'm going to look out the box here and take a new stance on the whole X'ing thing now: The people who should be supervising the X's, the MODs of Habbo Hotel, don't moderate them at all. I've seen the X program start, the whole process and not once have I seen a Moderator (who should be supervising the X's) taking control of them.

First thing, I've never been an X and nor am I corrupt and I do actually feel that MOST of the new X's have had a massive impact on the declining reputation of the X's, which had led to the removal of the room over-ride. Secondly, I don't follow MissAlice around, can't two people just be friends without been accused of following someone around?

I feel sorry for those X's that actually do help people, actually are in the welcome lounge or safety spa and didn't over-ride. The other X's are giving them a bad name and are bringing them down. The system really needs to be cleaned up as soon as possible.

I agree the system needs to be cleaned up, because the expansion is getting almost too overwhelming and rather silly. However, what do you mean that you feel sorry for the X's who help people? I'd rather have all Habbo X's have the right to core HC because that's a nice little reward that nobody will have a problem with. I just don't see why you can feel sorry for them, because they won't care at all since if they were helping people wern't over-riding, then why would they need the tool in the first place? *blink*

Agreed. I don't know many X's but I do agree that they do have a bad name to themselves. Its whether or not they can redeem that which is the big thing. A lowering of numbers in the X team, keeping those who help the most, would be a good idea. That's where the Moderators could actually supervise the X program like they were employed to do... -.-

The only reason X's need override now would be while hosting the X Events (say if they got disconnected), however there's an easy answer to this:

During X Events the X's hosting could be given the gaming X badge used in SG and elsewhere. This badge could have override, obviously once the events are over the badge is removed.

It's a shame it's come to this; I thought the "no-events" rule would be the end of it, but clearly there has been a catalyst pushing it further. I say with a little feigned hope that it would be nice if this wasn't due to the behaviour of a number of Xs... but I guess we won't know.

The override power is what X's used to have. It allowed them to enter any full room (public and guest room).

Proof is that X's can no longer enter full rooms.

i think it was stupid to even introduce the override for guest rooms. I can understand if they can override public rooms so they can get into the welcome lounge and help new people but why do they need to enter full guest rooms, they aint mods so why lol.

Interesting, since I quit being an X end of last year, I rarely sign into Habbo and when I do, I stay in my own rooms. During my time as an X I never once entered any celebrity events and neither did I enter an event held by staff. Why? Because I don't get high on pixel visitors, and I don't care about earning badges like so many here do! Oh wait, I was present at one big event, where I helped Callie judge a dance competition, I was the only X invited, back in 2005 I think.

The Resort competition was based on creating a range of rooms with friends, so not entirely sure what you are trying to imply here? I certainly wouldn't need room over-ride for that! It wasn't an event held by staff in their rooms or in public rooms duh.

You forget that the reason sevenstars won that is because they were one of the only resorts that didnt cheat and their resort was great.

Having an X badge didnt change that at all.

You dont even seem to realise Alice was one of the few Xs that were decent.
