Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has finished work on the long-awaited album Chinese Democracy.
The band's label Geffen has confirmed they are in possession of the album - which cost a reported ú6.5 million to make - and are currently fleshing out an agreement with Rose over its release.
Looks like he wanted that free can of Dr Pepper! (http://www2.kerrang.com/2008/04/chinese_democracy_gets_canned.html)
Longer.

It's only a mere reply to what Strat said a few months back.
lol @ people thinking that it will ever come out. i remember someone telling me "no they have an actual release date this time!" sometime a year or so ago, and the date came and nothing happened. there have been perhaps dozens of release dates and they keep pushing it back. i doubt it will ever be released.

haha. i just feel bad for guns n roses fans, they got disappointed so many times. it isn't right for axl to play with peoples' hearts like that. i know if a band i liked moved back the release date of their album i'd be disappointed. especially if it were a comeback album. multiply that by 10 times or so what gnr fans have felt, haha.
but i also think it's unfair to call the band guns n' roses. one member doesnt make the band.
and 6.5 million? wait, why? thats ridiculous. but as said before,
who even cares anymore? =/
