Isn't there screws at the back of your case. Because I'm sure you unscrew that and carefully pull it off then clean it.

Also the ram I guess is depending how much memory the application is using.

Someone else with more experience will give much better help than me tbh but that's what I think :)

There should be two screws at the back of your case, unscrew them and slide off the panel; try not to unscrew the panel with all the motherboard etc on, it's usually the right handside one with it on (when looking at it from the front) well thats what I've seen from experience.

Don't use a dyson, it doesnt help (trust me LOL) and hairdryers make the whole room dusty (LOL). haha.

A can of air sounds good; where can you buy these? xDD

Cleaning a computer is very easy. Undo your case, however make sure you have the case on a hard surface layed downwards onto the mobo, slide off the side and carefully get rid of the dust.

Syp is wrong. Looking for the front, you should always unscrew the panel to the left...

Why buy a can and miss loads when you use your finger, a cloth and your breath to get rid of the dust?

Darren, that's what I said? The one with it on aka the motherboard etc. read carefully ;)

& Darren, using your finger could be a bit dodgey.. static.

Use a can of compressed air. These can be bought for a few quid at a hardware store. Make sure you clean the fans as that is why they are sounding so loud, it has nothing to do with your RAM. It may be overheating aswell so make ur machine isn't proped up against a wall blocking the flow of air out of the fans.

Earth yourself before using it and you will be fine for static.

Also I mean't touching the fans... no need to touch Mobo.

Compressed air is better than your breath.

My friend said use a vacuum cleaner, would it also be alright?

Vacuums can build static up in the case and cause bad damage. Blowing can cause spit to come out of your mouth and onto components, short circuiting them, get a can of compressed air.

The Vaccum is made of plastic and isnt really going to touch the case.
I cant get a can of air.

If you don't know where to buy a can of compressed air go to the pet shop. Theres this thing called "pet corrector" and it has loads of air in it to scare your cats/dogs when they are fighting. I use it for my pets and I guess it would be alright for your PC?

No, the vacuum it self builds static up inside the case/air so just don't do it, even if it is plastic :|

Okay, why is my fan mega noisey though?
Anyone

Because the dust might be stressing the ball bearing inside the motor thus creating an unusual noise

Or it could actually be that your fan is knackerd and you need to buy a new one,

Where would you get a can of air.

lol at that, it's sold where I work. That's crap for compressed air, it's designed to make a sound, little air is directional.

Using a Vaccum Cleaner is fine and companies recommend you do this. It will NOT damage your computer. You can buy compressed air from any hardware shop.

I would say the easiest method is to get a can of compressed air and a vacuum cleaner, spray the can of compressed air down into the computer and then use the vacuum cleaner to attempt to remove all free'd up dust as it comes upwards as using a can of compressed air alone is similar to a hair dryer and will send dust everywhere.

Lol, the Red cans? Quiet a lot of air comes out if you hold it down. It runs out quick though and it's pretty pricey. I might just spray the cats with water. :P
