how come the lights in his lift stayed on whilst others didnt?
Look on the bright side. At least hes not stuck in one of them glass lifts on the side of buildings.

Look on the bright side. At least hes not stuck in one of them glass lifts on the side of buildings.Well at least it would go dark at night in them and you could be seen.
I wonder if he had a pee through opening the doors and peeing in the gap, I'm sure that would work and he did spend a while opening them doors?

i'd happily watch out of it for ages until i got rescued, as opposed to sitting in a dully lit metal box?

I was thinking that.. perhaps it's a wall or something and when he gets rescued it has moved up..?
Anyway, gutter for that bloke.
when he opens the doors, he looks up or down so i think it wasnt at a floor

He opens the doors and it's a wall so he can't get out. It's obvious they know he's in there since you see people trying to look though the gap of the other lifsts

he sued a couple of companies including the lift maintenance people LOL and got compensation
