He leased a 2006 BMW 335xi, it was a 3 year lease, 10 000 miles/year. His lease was up today (he was one of the first to get a 06' 3-Series) and he went to give the car back to BMW. He went WAY over the miles on the lease (like 60 000) and he knew he thought he would have to pay like 4 or 5 cents a mile over 30 000. It turns out that it was 20 cents for evey mile over! HAHAHA, he had to buy the lease out, or pay $12 000!

I felt bad for him because he was going to buy a new car today, but he says he will just sell it to somebody, or get them to take over the payments!

My plans to lease a BMW are down the drain! HAHAHA

He is going to try and sell it for $24 000, KBB says it's worth roughly $21 000. $24 000 is the break even point for him, or they could just assume the payments for the next 2 years.
