Are you using Vista and is it saying cannot find folder or something along those lines when you try and delete it?

Use Unlocker; http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/ (http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/)
It is one of the best programs I have and I use it alot.
When A folder doesn't want to delete, you just right click it, select unlocker and then a control panel comes up with delete, rename move, kill process.. Ect.

I know yo have solved it but there's a way to delete without downloading anything.
If you open CMD and type DEL [Folder Location]
Don't press enter or minimise it though!
Then open task manager and close the explorer.exe process
Then press enter in CMD
And it should delete. ;D
Then if you go to File> New Task (Run...) and type explorer.exe the folder would be gone and everything would be back to normal. ;D
In future just press shift + delete :D
Read my first post, properly ;)
Thanks Dec.
