The early season break is over! After a three-week gap between races, Formula 1 2008 resumes at Barcelona this weekend as the European season kicks off.
It’s often said that the ‘real’ championship battle starts when the grid returns to more familiar surroundings, and the teams chasing Ferrari will hope that’s the case after the Scuderia’s domination of the last two rounds.
Most cars will be feature a raft of new updates first tested at the Circuit de Catalunya last week, the results of which may define some the shape of some teams’ seasons.
So make sure you join ITV Sport’s award-winning team for live qualifying and race coverage on ITV1 across the weekend in Spain; with both sessions also simulcast here on itv.com/f1.
And from this season you can enhance your enjoyment of grand prix weekends by tuning into live coverage of the GP2 feeder series, starting with the opening round on Saturday on ITV4 straight after F1 qualifying.
Spanish Grand Prix on ITV
Live qualifying Saturday 26 April 1210-1430 ITV1
Qualifying highlights Sunday 27 April 1030-1130 ITV4
Live race Sunday 27 April 1200-1505 ITV1
Highlights Sunday 27 April 2345-0040 ITV1
Highlights re-run Monday 28 April 1800-1900 ITV4
They don't have any link to watch it online but I expect there will be a big link on the homepage at the weekend.
