This is starting to take the mick, first Charley now this site. I can't believe the guy won't even admit to even seeing our splash page before. It's getting out of hand... :l Is it just me or do they look strangely familiar in terms of their layout and general idea?

I'm not saying it's copyright to me, I'm saying he copied it from me. Why can't people like that just come up with their own ideas for their sites instead of directly copying from other people. Sure take inspiration but don't go as far as entirely copying, he's even tilted his text to look like ours...

I sold him my social networking template for that site and as soon as he got it he put on the colour changing header just like klydo has aswell.

Whats the Transmit BETA site got to do with this? :S If you're trying to say I copied it, forget it entirely. I had never heard of Panic at the time I made the Klydo splash page as I was still working on Windows. I was only told about it by my friend Mike once I had my iMac.

True, to be honest I would reccomend him to completely redesign it.
Without taking inspirations... (People say rip quite fast these days, so don't bother inspiring)
I mean, my templatenation/webauxtions, I'm still working on it (over a year now) and I've switched it's design about 4x now, (quite happy about current one though :p)

And yeah that background & those icons have been used for ages..

Think you'll find we no longer use the iconed splash page as I realised Netlog had one extremely similar which I hadn't seen until I logged out of my Netlog to get onto my girlfriends. That same day I was replaced with what we have now :)

Don't get me wrong though, I didn't say you ripped it or anything.. all I'm saying is you'ld be better of not using that style since alot of sites do.. it's no longer original

And it's best to create a whole new custom made thing then something inspired from another site as people tend to call it a RIP quite fast these days

You have to realise that when I make something out of an idea I don't go around checking every other site to see if it has something similar. It was by pure chance that I logged out of my Netlog account and saw that on the homepage. Otherwise the old splash would still be online and then I'd be accussed of copying as it's another social network.
