Warner Bros has confirmed a release date for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.
The first instalment of the series finale will open on November 19, 2010, with the second released the following summer. Earlier reports indicated that Part II would premiere in May 2011.
The studio announced the decision to split J.K. Rowling's final book in the popular wizard series into two films last month.
David Yates will return to direct the Deathly Hallows films, making him the series's most prolific helmer, steering four of the eight Potter movies.
The sixth Potter film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, opens in cinemas this November.
I'm looking forward to it :D

No, it was rumoured to be a November 2010 release, the date has been confirmed now :)
And they won't miss Dumbledore's funeral... It's the main plot in the book o.O

It has also been confirmed that, unlike the other films, they will not be cutting ANY scenes out (maybe a couple of random conversations, but thats it!). This is why the film is in 2 parts. :8

I can't wait for the last movie (well the one split into two) because the most recent HP movies I have always been dissapointed because they have always cut out things that I really wanted to see and this time they have no excuse.

When Part 1 of HP7 comes out, i'm going to wait until Part 2 is released so i can watch them both together.

ill probably be 17 when the last film comes out.
its good that theyre making it 2 films but the actors will be about 24?
so they should change the characters but it would be good for the end bit since theyre old :D
anyway cant wait for the half blood prince its gonna rock!

I would go watch them regardless of how old I will be because I have watched all the previous ones :D
thats bull I would rather watch a 6/7 hour movie than have to wait a year for the next bit to come out... BULLLLL

I've always thought the Harry Potter films to be way TOO farfetched,
I can believe in monsters, magic etc.
But a ginger with mates? Unspeakable...

With two films - So pratically five hours, the only thing they should miss is the reptitive camping scenes... Just small dialogue needs to be cut.
