Which do you think is the best?

Vote on speed, support, stability and price.

I have to choose very soon which, and those are the ones I believe are the ones I should choose between. Virgin Media is quite expensive.. BT will be cheap and I have them for a phone package, but I'm with BT/AOL at the moment and the speeds in my area are absolutely terrible. Sky are quite cheap and I have them for TV, so broadband is very cheap/free. Bethere I believe are fast but the support isn't so good nor is stability, but the prices are low.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Please don't just vote for your ISP, have a little look at each and if you have experience with many of them that is the perfect voter.

Thanks :)

Edit: Forgot to mention; I DONT NEED A FREE ROUTER OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

you can't do a fair pole unless you have been on all in the same geographical area because I can't get cable. BTs support is rubbish and mine regularly breaks so I would saysteer clear of them. Virgin... Well all he things they're doing like 3 strike rule is rubbish but they're speeds are good if u have cable. I don't know about the other ones

I'm being drawn to BT because of the low prices, but sky is another low priced one. At the moment, the speed I'm getting is too low for many things that it is used for in my home. My speed test is:

Virgin media will give ultimate speed, but at a high price.

And I dont need a free router or anything, I've got a good one.

My line can handle 6mb/s out here in the country, we pay for 8mb, but we are happy. www.Eclipse.co.uk can't do anything about our line, thats BTs job but we are getting our full line speed.

That looks good, but I'm not sure if I'd rather be with a bigger company.

Edit: You cant get unlimited usage with any of their plans - not interested in them.

I'm voting VM.

I have no idea why people say their customer service is crap, i think it's great. We were connected within 1/2 an hour of the guy arriving. It was brillian, but the funniest thing was that the plumber was also at our house fixing the shower and the guy from VM kept trying to sell him a service LOL

Gotta be Virgin Media, no downtime apart from faults of my own. Customer support is crap but I don't need it, other than that 100% from me. Always get my 20Mbit speed unless I go over the limit ¬__¬ then I get capped to 5Mbit for 5 hours.

How much are you paying for it?

Could anyone do me a big favour and do a speed test if they use sky? www.speedtest.net

If I went with version, I would get their 10mb package, not 20mb. I believe that at those kind of speeds, another 5mbps isn't going to make too much of a difference.

i love how people complain about the BT homehub - its a free router what do you expect for free- simply swap it for another router about on the net- bt do allow that they even tell you how

i've never had a problem with BT homehub or customer support and i'm a pretty serrious gamer
