I was looking at the latter when I was shopping for digital cameras last week. It's pretty bad for its price.

To moderators: I meant to edit my last post rather than create a new one. Apologies.

Most D-SLRs are apparently, but that one we got for cheaper because my dad was part of some photography club.

Ugly speedlite.

IF you were a real photographer, you would know never to set a lens with it's contacts down  Good way to damage it. Snapper.

I also have this macro lite system as well as this speedlite & bracket, just didn't feel like attaching:

After discussing with Denta, we have come to the conclusion that I have not left the contacts open, it just looks like it in the pic xD

I see you do a lot of flash photography. I personally do not need flash very much, and will only use it around 4 times a year.

Whats actually the big difference between "pro" cameras and my diposible 1 pound ones? I'm sure they're both the same quality when they're printed on paper?

Dentafrice

Actually I have to disagree with that :P I have noticed a big difference between normal film/digital (disposable) cameras as well as normal digital cameras.

Stay on solid ground ;)

Not going to go into all the details, but with a normal camera (compact) you can not edit the ISO, shutter speed etc, you can't put bigger zoom, you can't control your f/stops and the flash is appauling..!

Yes you can.. just not to the extent you can with an (d)SLR.

My old camera's ISO could go up to 800, and it was just a Kodak Easyshare. The shutter speed could go to a minute.

I take it you do realize that picture's like that on the internet used in spite and to make a joke of that person is counted as cyber-bullying and can get you a criminal record.

If Darren decides that the image is not acceptable he can take it to the authorities as the image has been posted without his permission. Its fine if its an image of someone purposefully looking like an idiot for a funny caption, but it's just a normal image made to take the whizz out of him.

You do realise that I did not find the image of Darren or upload it to any website on the world wide web. I only just seen it and thought I say something about it. I never bullied him, I just posted a simple sentence without offended him. So please take what you have said above.
