Chest pain

Hello everyone

For the past few months, every now and then I get a short lasting but very sharp pain in my chest around where my heart is. It lasts for a few seconds but when its there its worrying and hurts lots. I'm still surviving so it cant be something that bad, but does anyone have any idea what it is? I don't have to be doing sporty activities when it happens, sometimes it happens when I'm just laying down or sitting. Any help? I haven't really told anyone about it because I didn't think it was serious and didn't want to cause bother.

Yes I do know that the pain is around left of the central part.

This happens to me aswell, whether I am just sat down or walking I get a very sharp pain to the left of my chest just where my heart is. I don't think it is to serious but then again I have no idea what it is. If you go and get it checked out could you please PM me and tell me what is causing it?

I get similar sharp pains, but not in the chest area. I get sharp pains in one of my sides, just a little bit under my chest. It comes and goes, but I get the pain when I breathe. I have no clue what it actually is. Anyone know what's going on?

Could just be heart burn :P ...Take a Rennie! Maybe its the change in weather...If it continues...Just see your doctor and he/she will have a listen and see what's happening. :D

i used to get chest pains. i had difficulty breathing at one point.

i went to the doctors to get an x-ray and perform some tests. basically the doctor said that my heart was working fine and the pains are caused by external influences like stress.

you should still get it checked just incase. it will get your mind off the matter, atleast. good luck :)

I get this too, Its only when I breathe in though, So I just sit holding breathe because if I breathe in a pain comes for a few secs

I get similar thing. I put it down to heart burn.
