Well I have currently being using Clearasil Ultra for a few days now, and today I woke up with dryish skin. I know it does something with oils in your skin, so it could be a small side effect.

I have never come accross any allergic reactions before, so im not 100% sure.

Does any one else use this and get dry skin? Or should I stop using it?

Yeah I also get dry skin from using clearasil, i'd stop using it if I was you and try a different product.

Yea, or I could use more of a sensitive skin product. The problem with Clearasil is its full of chemicals :(

I get dry skin with Ultra, but not with normal Clearasil.

I get dry skin. It's meant to do that really, and get rid of the oils. I just moisturise afterwards and it's fine.

I also get dry skin from it, right at the start of when i used it it was really bad, now i hardly notice it because i think my skin has got used to it.

You can always use some sort of moisturiser but this might make your skin more oily again.

It can cause dry skin and it normally does for many but then a smart option would be to use a non oil based face cream or balm after each wash. Also, using a toner after using the Clearasil product would help with this.

I use clearasil ultra twice daily, and the only thing it does to me is, well, nothing. My chin/jaw area looks like a pizza.

If it makes your skin dry, however, it could be a slight allergic reaction your skin is having due to the chemicals in Clearasil. I would try a different product - Avon For Men face cleaning stuff is excellent.

It's just a side effect, alot of these lotions work by making the skin dry. Just make sure you keep using plenty of moisturizer. :D

If it does get worse and starts looking like a rash stop using it..

Using toner after clearasil will stop your skin going all flaky (it's the stuff in the bottle that's applied with cotton pads) and invest in a water based moisturiser to use after your wash as oil based ones just put you back to having oily skin, lol.

These products are designed to dry out your skin because spots are caused by excessive oil production. These products arent magic you know!

I get spots because im a teenager, not because I eat fatty foods (I don't even eat fatty food). Why would I be stressed?
Thanks anyways :P
