why do good bands never give away free songs? =[

radiohead virtually did, same with nine inch nails. wilco have been streaming their albums on their website before their release since 2002. everyone's been copying radiohead, its going to become a really widespread practice soon enough. even metallica's getting in on it.

coldplay are good under their singles. for some reason people always like all their mediocre songs but ignore awesome ones like "god put a smile upon your face" and "don't panic".

don't panic is an amazing song, probably my favourite coldplay song to be honest.

i know, it's basically the most epic thing they've done despite the fact its barely over 2 minutes long. oh, and i forgot to mention "spies". it's weird but definitely one of my favorites.

that doesnt mean that in my opinion they are good, just because they have sold loads of albums.

i have that free nine inch nails ghosts thing, i didnt think it was very good.

glad to hear coldplay are back. i love their music :)
some are a bit weird.. but some are master peices.
