Hey,

I am playing single player, and out my speakers comes a nice ring ding, telling me I have an invite. I open up the invite and join the game successfully, however after 20 seconds, just sitting on the start page waiting for the game to start, I get disconnected.

I go back to single player, and again another invite. I join this and it plays up, again. I even searched for a game, managed to be in the game 2 mins, and then it says 'Connection between one or two players lost. You will be sent back to single player', like before.

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem, and if so how I can resolve it.

I have finally got it from Play.com and very pleased. Takes some getting used to!

It's a PS3 problem, move it to the Sony section.

Also 360 problem. It's the overload of players.

I have managed to play in a Free Roam for an hour with my freinds, so it is getting better.

No it's not. Nobody has had a problem on the xbox. You don't even have an xbox.

It happens to me on the 360 version and keeps saying disconnected so it exists..

I've had no problems with LIVE. Its a PS3 problem.

No, it's an overload problem with 360 and PS3. It's happening more to PS3 because more units have been sold to that console.

Really? I've heard of nobody having xbox 360 problems, compared to countless PS3.

Care to post your source of the sales figures?

I've had no problems with LIVE. Its a PS3 problem.Well that's like me saying 'because I haven't been shot there's no guns in the world'. Just because LIVE is fine for you doesn't mean it is for others.

My friend reckons you need to have an 'Open' NAT Port to be able to use GTA online better, it will help with all online aspects if you have a open NAT port, especially with lots of players. It could be worth a try if it's strict or moderate.

Same here, so much for "GTA IV runs smoother on the PS3" obviously not then. ;)

Jordy: You would've been better quoting my above post, which was more up to date.

Across the forums I've used, I've heard of nobody having problems, not just me personally but all the 360 users (at least nobody has questioned the problems), in comparison to a fair few PS3 problems.

Looks like you've been bluffing, check my thread. ;)

Its strange. I can get into my freinds game, however I can not stay in other peoples games, it just says the connection is lost. He must have one good connection!

Hopefully it will all be sorted now.
