My sister started smoking around this age, and she started letting my sister smoke inside.

To be honest I'd quit if I were you, not because of the health risks and all that but you've mentioned that you might do, so you're obviously in the right mindframe for it. Also the thing with how your mum says she's proud of you for not smoking - that's what would get me. To make your parents proud is one of the best things you can do, and I think if more people realised that there'd be more respect and tolerance about.

Your mum must be pretty okay with it if she's cool with your friends doing it and your sister, and herself. Why don't you explain you smoke and got addicted, say you thought it looked cool to smoke but you regret it now as it's costing you a lot. Then ask if she can help you stop and that you really want too, oh and that your sorry :p

I know the kinda delima... I could never tell my parent outright about it...

They didn't know for 4years before they drove home and saw me smoking with a few of my friends and then I was just like "Yeah... Well... 3years have passed without you knowing then it doesn't really impact on either of our lives."

And she just accepted it, as did my Dad - each time I go to see a doctor or something they like to repeatedly tell me to remember to remind the doctors i smoke... Lol... but yeah, I was caught at 17 and tbh, not really their choice at that age =P

So yeah... I'd just say either let her see you smoking or just vaugly keep it hidden... my parents I'm pretty sure knew before that point as I always stunk of smoke if they gave me lifts from college and everyone at gatherings at my house asked me to roll for them etc... Lol xD

Well, if she reacts badly and tries to stop you, it would be harder for you to get away with it... She could start looking in your room for cigarettes, smelling your breath, etc... It's not exactly the most ethical suggestion, but honestly I wouldn't tell her unless you know she'll be okay with it, which I assume she wouldn't, considering you posted this thread. I didn't tell my mother until I was about 16 I think.

Your the exact same age as me :P Im 15 in july. And tbh ive had no cravings to smoke or to do anything like drugs or even alcohol. but i like that :P lmao. Umm..
