on my laptop on the left side theres a small blue line it goes from the top to the bottom is there any way to fix this?

Nah a Dell Inspiron 1300
quite old but still works and well usefull.
I dno when i first noticed it but its pretty annoying.

I think you will need a new screen on the laptop. It happened to a relative and she needed a new laptop screen.

Thats rediculas, Il just wait a few months till my parents buy to buy me a new one but tbh surely just 1 small blue line can't cause that much damage?

yep it can its the connections to the motherboard may have become loose try pressing on around the bottom part of screen etc.

Keep pressing the bottom part of screen or on the base of the pc where screen is attached etc just keep trying to press all round it. I know its only a temp fix but its better then paying for a new screen

yep pushing down does work, my lg chocolate had a problem like this, pushing down hard on the keypad made the connection better again, but then it went completely white and I had to take it apart and push the connector back in. Works perfect now :D

Another more permanent way would be if you can remove the casing for the screen which is probably not possible and see where the loose wire is and mabe tape it.
