Hi Im 14 and thres a girl i really like. Shes been my best mate for a long time now, and i really dont know where to go. She knows that I like her, and my other mates say that something will happen someday. But i dont know :S

Any ideas.. I dont want to ask, becus she isnt that kind of person....

maybe you should drop little hints, to avoid being direct. if you be direct and ask her, you may (depending on the situation) may lose her as a friend. drop little hints, like being a little affectionate or whatever and if she catches on and buys it then you know she likes you too, but if she doesn't catch on or whatever then you know she just wants you to be mates :(

I think I know a lot when it comes to having a girl for a best friend.

Don't get me wrong, I did like her at the start of the friendship (four years ago) and thought about asking her along the way but if we got together now it would just be weird. We are really close as mates and I think that's for the best. I've learned a friendship can be a lot better than a relationship.

In your case I don't know how close you two are, and what you two are like together. All I can say is if you genuinely think it will work then go for it, but that's also if you're willing to lose the friendship as well. I'm not saying you will 100% lose the friendship, but if it doesn't work out for some reason or another, your friendship may not be the same as it is now.

Take it slow dont rush Just ask her to go to the cinams or something ect, say you pay show how nice you are and then kiss her and say i love you and if she slaps you say sorry need to get that out
