Summer Sonnets - Ends Saturday 31st May

Well guys and gals, Summer is almost here and the sun seems to be getting near!
Oh, hey! Look - I'm a poet and I didn't know it! That's what this competition is all about. I want you to come up with a poem about summer, but not just any old poem... a sonnet! This means it must have 14 lines and be all one stanza, It doesn't have to rhyme either. Good luck my mini-shakespeares!

To prevent unfair competitions, we only allow one entry for each Habbox member and one pc. If more entries are sent using the same Habbox member and/or pc, all the entries will be withdrawn from the competition. Put on your summer clothes because summer is here,
No more rain hopefully for atleast quarter of a year,
Put on your lotion and call your friends,
Then party on like this summer will never end,
You can go on habbo, even go to the park,
Because even at 10pm it's still not dark!
Enjoy the heat glistening on the darling buds of may,
The change from the rain is pleasant and be happy that it came,
Lets thank god for this lovely time and take a minute to pray,
Lets go to the beach all day we'll stay,
Play and never mind the heat,
While the waters gleaming, streaming,
Ripples around our feet!

Serenity. Tranquility. A beggar's delight
the air is soft with a subdued breeze kiss,
where sun shines through until the night
the flowers bloom graciously in perpetual bliss.
Though life looms desolately over my weary heart
I wander through this paradisaical field,
and though me and Summer must one day part
Between me and the sun, the passion is sealed.
To frollic through daisies in a white-washed sea
and indulge on the perfume of blossom so sweet,
I know in my heart, she will never leave me
Summer, when love meanders in mid-July heat.
Though Winter is hard, with her spirit so tough
Summer will come to solace us in love.

The soft, golden sand filters itself through your toes,
It's that time again, and everybody knows.
The burning, hot sun beams down on the ground,
The burning, hot sun so fiery, big and round.
The salty residue fills the seaside air,
The sea is freezing but it's not like we care.
Along comes the ice cream van playing his luring song,
You better hurry up, he won't be around for long!
All seems peaceful, calm and still,
The beach is so placid and quiet- until,
The worst fears are confirmed as a huge droplet of rain hits the shore,
Then all so suddenly, there dropped more, and more, and more,
The sun excites us like a little baby kitten,
But it doesn't stay for long - you've gotta love our Britain.
