I agree with the post above too, the Wii is popular with Mario, Sonic & Pokemon type games & the Ps3 is for things like Gta IV, Cod4 and GT5.

Wii is a family console you mug, so it's obvious it's not for 8 year olds who love Mario. There is more of a genre than just Mario, theres Wii Fit, Wii Sports and other things to keep you fit, so I consider you go outside and stop hugging your PS3 and buy a Wii, see how much you enjoy it then call it a kids console. :rolleyes:

Both false claims, there is no such thing as "a real gamer" other than someone who plays games 24/7. A 'real' gamer which exists to play a specific game is a matter of opinion, rather than fact. And the Wii is played by more people over the age of 16 than it is 5 year olds... Plus you don't just play with the arm-flailing wiimote, there are other attachments and most games don't even need you to throw it about.

I prefer the Wii, built better imo. It eats CDs quietly, is always connected to the internet, is smaller, is quite stylish and does the job at hand. Plus it's different...

Sorry but how can you possibly compare the two is beyond me.

Wii is a great console whether its to kill boredom or have fun with the family, its great fun at party's and great to play with the family.

PS3 is more of a real game console with hard core gaming which you buy is up to you

let me change my statement, each console is good for different things, wii for family gaming and the nintendo/sega/pokemon wii exclusives and the ps3 is good for most action games and listening to music/watching videos/storing pics on the hard drive.
