Light green rep points have changed to peices of paper?

They seem fine to me.
You may need to clear your cache for HxF so that the images can reload in the correct location. I get this problem sometimes and I've only encountered it using Firefox (which I know you're using), people's avatars suddenly change to huge smilies that are used on the same page or certain buttons change to my avatar. Clearing my cache normally fixes it, ctrl + F5 should do the trick. ;)
If that doesn't work you could always try ending your Firefox session which clears the entire cache and starting up Firefox again.
