VIP for Habbo?

Heya I just wanted confirmation if selling Habbox VIP for Habbo furni/credits is now against the Forum Rules?

It says in the new thread (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?p=4722854#post4722854) by Elkaa that all sales are against the rules, so I assume VIP for Habbo among members is no longer allowed? Just want this confirming as it doesn't specifically state 'VIP' as not allowed so this could confuse loads of people as lots of people do Habbo for VIP.

Surely if that's the case then there's no need for 'Become a Habbox V.I.P. Member (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=85)' forum any more as it's virtually only used for Habbo for VIP.

Technically what Elkaa said isn't against the rules, because it's not included in the Habbo illegal practices rule which, to be fair, no one reads when it's on another site. But I imagine it would be yes, considering he said it's illegal to, and it is by Habbo.

well, you could look at it in two ways,

VIP costs money, so your technically selling furni for money in which case it would be against the rule

OR

VIP isnt rewally a real life good so it could be classed as not illegal.

It doesnt really make sense though because its just the same as someone buying credits but at least your giving someone else somethign out of it aswell. (if that made sense)

habboxforum isnt official, its habbox that is so i see no reason why they should be tightening up the ranks on here.

they could say its run by two different people but are like sister sights? unless they are run by two different people which i dont really see the problem lol

The thing is Habbox will let Habbo dictate how the forum is run soon enough and knowing the management I'm guessing they will comply. HxF isn't like any other habbo forum, thus why it is so very popular. If habbox start listening to habbo, habbox will just be another present under the tree.

Habbo have not comment on this before we became official and we have had this in place for ages. Non-official fansites have rules to follow too meaning if it was fine before, it's fine now in most cases.

I don't usually buy VIP through people and I don't tend to sell it either, however if I came too I now know if I'm allowed to or not. I now have an answer though as MADs replied. Habbox VIP is an virtual item , where as mobile phones and real cash are real items that can be worth something in Gold bars and be exchanged with others.
Vip is always going to be allowed to be sold otherwise most forum would have died due to the lack of funding.

If Habbo are trying to takeover HxF and make it what they want then I hope they're helping to pay the server bills.

We have no intentions of letting Habbo run Habbox (we didn't the first time, and we won't now.) However, we have to respect property rights, not only for moral reasons but for legal reasons (we could, theoretically, get shut down once they start paying attention.) They just haven't cared in the past - now they do.

Certain things that are technically illegal that we turned a blind eye to may be restricted now, yes. But that doesn't mean that it will become a Habbo-run dictatorship. (Anyone making an absurdly untrue comment about how Habbox is already a dictatorship will be hit with a rubber chicken based on the complete predictability of your comment ;))

Because I for one if this happened and I wanted VIP for furniture I would just look for the usual sellers and make a secret trade with them for VIP.

Habboxforum is more of a stickie note to put in reminders, latest happenings around the hotel to brief news team and a disscussin based forum for the various members to spread there opinion not there legs and enjoy themselfs.

My posts have not anything to do with what I speak of and what I agree and disagree about. I was quite a popular member of Habbox a while ago so I don't see why your trying to put me down because my name is seemed unheard of at this present time. I am sure with my knowledge and curisma I know more things about Habbox and Habbo then you would love to know about.

As has been said previously in this thread, Habbo for VIP is fine. The thread that I made was in regards to the increase of Real Life items for Habbo Hotel goods, which was an alternative of selling for money. This is currently, unaffected.

No. HabboxForum is a completely different thing to Habbox, Habbox being the site that is official. There is no link between the two sites on the Habbox site except a link here and there, if the forum was integrated to the site then it would be a different matter but that is not the case.

Because the forum isn't official, anything can happen within it and it won't affect the Habbox site in anyway, only maybe if something really bad happened on the foum and then Habbo move onto the main site would that be the case.
