7, but I'm taking a break before I do 8 so that I can just play and learn pieces for fun.

Cool. I am 15 and started keyboard lessons in year 7, year 10 now and a year ago I fell in love with the piano and since december I have had piano lessons and I will take my grade one piano in november :P.

I normally just hear a piece of music and find the sheet and learn it or somethimes learn it from ear.

Are you mostly a composer or player?

If I had to choose I would say composing as I absolutely love composing piano pieces.

I'm 15 too and I'm mostly a player. :) Composing doesn't really interest me.

I have only made three compositions in the last few months. I can't think of titles but I have finally thought of "Solitude" for one of them.

Yr 4 - Yr 11 - so for 7 years... i was grade 6.

Most difficult peice to play - Preludium II ... OH MY GOD THE DIFFICULTY...


I wish i never quit.. im in Yr12... i can still play but im out of pratice.. i wish i never gave up... but i had to because of GCSE's... :(

If you're talking about the one by Bach (BWV 847), then that was really one of the easiest pieces I have ever learnt. Loool.
It was just the speed of it that was tricky, but got over that in about a week.

Praeludium I is too easy... If you want a challenge try III though. That will kill you. :P I'm about 3 quarters of the way through it atm.

Well im not the best obviously... i played Praeludium I for my Music exam in GCSE... got an A*

the first is so basic.. but yet so beautiful
