Josh, if he hasn't got the product he doesn't have to pay. In the world of freelance work you should always do the project with a deposit, and if they can't do that then do not take on the work. The only reason I say this (and this is a wide speculation, correct me if I'm wrong) is because generally if they can't pay a deposit, they can't pay the final.

As for headlawyer, its generally pretty hard to find people that will do it for free. However I wish you the greatest luck in doing so. I guess.

If you asked him to agree to it why havent you got the money..

Generally you ask for a deposit before you start the project meaning that if the person doesnt want layout anymore they dont get deposit back and at least u get something for your efforts.
