Introducing HabboLake.com v2.0!



HabboLake.com was first established and opened in late December 2007 by the Habbos; Invent! and iTweedz. The original version received a good reaction from the Habbo Public, but due to the lack of features, content and the poor style of management, the site became very inactive within the first few MONTHS! (Oh dear!)

After we realised what was happening to the site, we quickly put it on maintenance so that we could develop version two of the site!

After around 2 months of off-and-on work, we have finally finished the new site http://clubhabboforum.net/images/smilies/001_smile.gif!

The new site includes more or less the same content, but with a few updates such as new guides, site games, fantastic tools that you can use on your own fansite and of course the user system (which includes an AJAX Miniforum, PM system and oh yes, the new and improved home system ^_^).

We are expecting a release in either a few days or early next week, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled! (We will announce the release date on the website tomorrow!).

Oh and we'll also be posting some new previews as the opening day draws closer http://clubhabboforum.net/images/smilies/001_smile.gif!

I think so. The radio won't be available during the first week or so. So, once the site is open we will start hiring DJs :)

How does it take a few months to make a habbo fansite...?If at the same time you're making a social network, a Habbo Homes system and also doing jobs for clients, it can take many months.

I don't particulary want to still make Habbo Fansites, but people have been wanting me to open/finish the site - so I have.

Haha :P Nah, I've just noticed a javascript error in IE and also a glitch with IE (yet again) that doesn't load the nav bar images properly (as they're generated using PHP GD).

This site is like the best! When is the EXACT date of the forum and homes opening btw?

Although the site attracts users and is user friendly, it seems that your hard work has been wasted. Opening without the Forum or Radio (even homes) was a bad idea. When people have visited your site and look around the pages, it's like... what do you do next? Habbo Fansites demand people to come back for more, there is nothing at the moment that your site has to cling potential users onto being so called "dedicated" to your website. If you had released the Forum (etc.) in time, you would have had users visiting the forum again and again, keeping your personal community in tact. I'd imagine another 'Grand Opening' for the Forum, so good luck with that.

You do know, that just because you open a forum, doesn't mean it is going to get popular.
Not all sites have to have a forum, nor a radio at the time of opening.

Habbox didn't have a forum or radio until well after being open.
