View Full Version : 13 year-old, 110mph, motorway...

Sheer madness, a 13-year old boy stole a car after a argument about pocket money then drove down the motorway at speeds of up to 110mph with some of the most dangerous driving I've ever seen, only metre's away from missing vehicles. The police stopped chasing him as he was so dangerous and let the chopper above follow him, pretty good chase to watch and then his escape on foot but it's ever so selfish how he was driving and he only gets 8-months in a Youth Detention Centre!

Quite interesting for a 13/14 year old :P Hopefully the parents cancel any though of giving him pocket money in the future, or not get in his way again.

Wonder if he got his pocket money in the end

Suprised he didn't seriously injure himself or anyone though... Anyone driving at 110mph through traffic is pretty... difficult but a 13 year old that can't drive? Meh... Deserves his punishment though.

Great police work, the lad was in a care home from what I've just read, so he already has some kind of problem? I really don't see how 8 months detention is going to prove to him that he isn't above the law. He needs some kind of help, not sure what though.

That's some pritty ****** up kid lol.

Inseriousity.

This is why GTA should be banned! Nah, I joking... :D

It's a bit stupid that he only got a short time in a detention centre. Detentions are laughed at in school. I bet they expect it just to be a really long detention....

Oh trust it to be in Hull!

Hum, how did he get across the bridge if he came from Hull to S****horpe?

We was in the city centre today :( Would be good if we saw it tbh :P

I must admit thought, he was quite a confident driver lol. When I had my first test I stalled about 6 times before I could get out my street.

He was 14 and tbh that was pretty well driven by him, I mean the fact that he was dodging all the traffic etc, anyway 8 months isn't long enough. Good video footage there!

Hmmm, you could be right... When he goes off the motorway he doesn't seem to have problems driving around the small roads. At the speed he was going, the corners would of been hard to execute in a geared car because he would of either of changed gear, so you would see it jumping, maybe even coasting which would cause a crash into the corner of the road or crashing into the side of the road whether he changed gear or not. He didn't seem to skid anyway.

I "think" automatic cars handle corners better than a geared car... I've not been in a situation to notice though :P

EDIT: The corner was a bit funny, so could still be geared :P Why am I analyzing his driving is beyond me!

I think this just goes to show that GTA really does give youths the expertise to drive cars. They grow up so fast. :') Well done police coppaofficers, not that it's hard catching a 13-yr-old...

if your young..Don't see why not, all they did was rugby tackle him to the ground, it's not easy to get hold of their hands and arrest them when they're sprinting. He'll just be shocked and he may get a little bruise on his back but I highly doubt he can count it as human right's abuse if he's been driving 110mph down a motorway at the age of 13 :P
