I heard that if you lift weights like for your arms at a younger age like before your 16 or 18 it stunts your growth meaning you wont get much taller kind of like how they tell you drink Coca-Cola does

Was wondering if this is true.... im only asking cuz i know this rly short kid who lifts alot of weights and well... hes damn short so yeah

my mom told me it was how much weight im 14 and lift 10 lbs daily.

i think if i lifted like 20-30 lbs it may affect my height.

but yee im tall i guess 5'8 ft

Yes.

If you weightlift at a young age it will stunt your growth. If you want to do muscle excercises then do things like press-ups etc.

No, lifting weights at a young age WONT stunt your growth.

Its only if you take steroids your growth will be stunted, its a common misconception. If anything it will increase growth as more testosterone will be released..
