Hey,

My sisters laptop only has 1 USB Port, and its broke (she snapped all the pin things inside when trying to force something in), so she can't put anything on her iPod. I tried a USB to PS/2 Adapter (knowing full well it probably wouldn't work, but worth a try) and that just charges it.

So, is it possible (as I have 4 USB ports) to plug her iPod into my laptop and let iTunes access it over the network or something somehow?

Thanks,
Robbie

RobbieNo that isn't possible as far as I'm aware, when sharing iTunes libary over the network, it's just songs, videos etc etc, you can't share device's attached to the library's unfortunately.

Good idea trying to charge it though, I think the USB Ports really need to be fixed not only for the iPod but for the numerous USB Hardware these days. Take it into a local computer shop.
