When a there is a leak, you know there is more information, to be had. As it was reported previously in the latest issue of Game Informer, Guitar Hero 4 will be adding a drum part for the first time in the series.

With this announcement there are many questions to be answered such as: How will it look? Will I be able to use my Rock Band drums in GH4? Why is the sky blue?...etc.

These latest scans from the June issues shows us how Red Octane plans to overtake the competition with the help of a former MTV games employee. The designer of these drums come from a man by the name of John Devecha, who had a part in creating the drums for MTV's Drumscape game.

The design of the drums themselves are pleasing to the eyes. The drums use three pads, two cymbals and foot petal. That means that there will be six parts that will be used in the drum part of this game. I personally think there is a lot of problems that could arise from this design.
There is a likely chance that cymbals could break. Also, without something to stabilize the foot pedal, there could be many problems with people pedal's slipping on them in key moments in the song. This leads me to my final question.

WHY IS ACTIVISION NOT LETTING ME USE THE ROCK BAND DRUMS IN GH4?

I hope theres a big gap in between the Rock Band and Guitar Hero 4 release dates in Europe because I want to buy them both.

Not sure really... only 3 pads and then 2 cymbols... and a foot pedal. Don't know. I'll stick with rock band :P (ONE WEEK TO GO!)

Hell Wii owners are still waiting for a PAL release of SSBB some 105 days since it's Japan release. Infact Europe are getting it later than Australia. Perhaps a trend is beginning to develop.

Apparently it has a microphone as well and a song creator. Soooo Band Hero :D I'll most likely get GH4 for Christmas if it is out before then. I think i'll enjoy Rock Band more so i'll rather get that.

RB2 is rumoured to bring a piano/keyboard controller, but I can't see how that would work really... Unless you actually play the real thing because if you just have 5 notes it'd be too easy? :s
