Hey wondering if anyone could help me, I've got 14M to spend on a skill, and summoning came to mind, so I was just wondering what's the quickest way to train it (im like 4) atm, and is it quick? how expensive?

Kind of hoping for like a little mini guide here to see what I'd have to do to get to a high level thanks

Do the summoning quest - that will teach you the only way to train it. It's very boring!

It's not too expensive until the higher levels, it's good for combat levels but the only way you can get the charms you need for summoning is from monster drops, which takes ages as they only drop one at a time.

ITll cost about 1.7m to get to 50.

You will have to collect quite a lot of charms though as well.

Damn.. I sold all my combat stuff..

Once you've spent the money is the skill easy and quick to level up?

Yes once you got all charms, shards, pouchs and secondarys you can do 1-50 in a day basically. probs 1-60 in a day.

As I've said, charms are only available from certain monsters and they only drop one at a time, so it does take quite a while unless you have loads of charms. The rest of the stuff you can buy.

Well if you sold all your stuff, why not do firemaking?
I've written a guide for it, it should only cost 1 - 4M with maples, 21M with yews.

It can be found here:

You might get to 75 with 14m, not sure though.

Jamie, don't say stuff until you get get your facts correct.

Giant rock crabs drop 10 charms a time.

And "Bork" drops 1-7 charms a time (can only kill him once a day though)

So you get a 'Bork' and it drops 7 charms (maximum) a day, why don't you just kill ogres for the best part of a day and get loads?

Lava maze, and must have done the Born hunter mini quest thing.

and LOL jamie, ofc you did? From what i recall you played rs and 3 days i think it was, and you just started summon once you left?

Most people like to ice burst the giant rock crabs.

I'd suggest doing slayer as they drop them, and baselisks are good for dropping green ones apparently.
