Basically, i don't know what I need to get for it to work properly.

In another thread somebody said something about 3 splitters and a kwakle cable :S

Hmm...

I read some of the reviews, and it says some games aren't accepted by the format.

So would i be better off getting platinum?

Plantium would be best, yeah. I've heard the Red Dazzle is alright on Cod 4 etc but you can't record in HD, so you'll be better with a Premium I guess. :)

If you want to record in 60hz PAL on Xbox 360 on games such as Halo 3 then you'll need Platinum anyway. :)
