Because of MAD been on leave at the moment and the vast number of changes which are brought forward in vBulletin 3.7 there is going to be a large gap between the release and the application of the changes on here. As MAD is the only person here who seems to deal with upgrading the software and such we might be waiting a while. Like I said because of the large number of changes the forum management will probley have to plan what's going to happen when the changes are brought forward to minimise the total downtime during the update. We'll probley be seeing the new version coming towards the end of June, but that's just an estimate; I have no idea what has already been done.

We didnt, we had 3.6.9 before 3.6.10. I think 3.6.10 was a security update.

3.7 isn't secure and can be exploited. I think we're waiting for an secure version?

It's pretty good and I've got a good skin for it already (being the profile system skin for myself lol, not the whole forum) but yeah... It's a bit insecure too.

3.7.0 is now declared stable so it is as "safe" as any other vBulletin version. Chances are you will see this upgrade late June time as I am sure MAD will be doing it, unless he lets someone else do it.

I'm not sure but i've heard people saying their are secret exploits. Probably just rumours but it better to be safe than find out the hardway?

The exploit is a security hole in there hosting itself allowing access to information you shouldn't be able to retrieve, it's all linked.

On the profile in 3.6.x there is to much white space. On the left there is half a page of profile info and on the right there is 2 lines about what groups you are in :(

3.7.0 is stable and now vBulletin's supported release. Any genuine security loopholes will be investigated by vBulletin and fixed in an upgrade.

They ruin styles tbh.

3.6.10 is great, I hate the stupid profile system on 3.7. Keep it as it is, the forum does well without huge upgrades.

I disabled most of the new profile features on my forum, such as the album and social groups because they aren't needed in my opinion.

vB is really behind, 3.7 sounds like IPBs 2.2.3 update which upgraded profiles to allow profile comments and forum view post previews :S It's not needed really, when whoever does the upgrades is available it could be done. I thought Jin did them?
