Habbo could close down if this carries on, think about it, people are desstrying furni worth lot of money, and if they can do it to rooms WITHOUT rights then habbo are in trouble as i can't think of a way they can block this, A word of advice, lock your rooms so it don't happen to you and habbo can maybe do something about it! :)

lol init, well, as theyv'e said before, how can a team of 200 hobba's and 10 or so staff members help up to 9000+ habbo's at a time, thats around 40 habbo's each! Not to mention how only 5 or 6 Hobbas are on duty at a time and how the staff do need to sort ALOT of other thing's too! They will find a way, they managed to stop serverside heightmapping which is good. And the mutant's, Jibbi had to remove the Cinema costumes ¬.¬ but they eradicated people getting free credits.

There are so little Hobba's because Habbo are too dumb to realise that Habbos of the age 18+ rarely go on the damn site, because they have better things to do! If they merely lower the age to 16 where people aren't really that busy, sure there are GCSE's but when you think about it, lots of 16 year olds go on it during their exam leave.

Right, Habbos Pay MONEY to get their PIXEL's, if people are getting scripted and hacked or w/e they will leave the site, meaning they won't be paying MONEY for more PIXELS, this mean's Habbo LTD will lose MONEY because not as many people are buying their product, which are the PIXELS.

The only way Habbo wouldshut down was if there was a massive fire in the sulake offices in London , not that i want there to be. but if you which i bet not many of you have the terms and conditions of Habbo Hotel... Secondly, it won't close because of this - and I think this is possibly just a thread to boost up your post count, and it's going to spread a rumour that Habbo will close. Firstly, I'll explain the whole situation.

When you buy furniture, or do anything on habbo - encrypted data (data put into a weird code) is sent to the server, the server then decrypts the data - and you get your furniture, or you move around the room, or you get credits .etc .etc. All these scripters have done - is found out the type of encryption which habbo is using, so they can encrypt data and send it to the server - so that different things happen in habbo.

It's taken them like 2-3 years to find out how to do this, and habbo can EASILY just changed the encryption type. I have heard on a few "krew/scripting" sites that Habbo are actually changing the encryption as we speak.

So yeah, no need to go spreading rumours.

So that would cost a bit of money, and people will probably sign up, for the chance to win a mobile, but it doesnt necessarily make people buy a load of credits, so by advertising that they are generally losing money.

If it is so easily changeable the encryption, how comes it has taken 2 or so years? How comes they don't care when you say anything like this? Why do the badly trained MODs, Hobbas and Habbo Staff say "Check you pc for keyloggers" or "Be careful what sites you go on". Are they that stupid? Flava gives a valid point and if this is true which it relatively does then this is a good sign and he means it has taken the scripters 2 - 3 years to discover the encryption, obviously it will be easier for Habbo to change but i expect it is a big job as they will have to reset all their servers to function with this new code.

Sulake have 16 Habbo Hotels in Total therefor they have 16 hotels which are bringing in some form of Income. This means that even if Habbo Hotel UK isnt doing very well they still have 15 other hotels in which they are gettin money from to support the Hotel. So reali they would have to go into Liquidation to actually close the hotel. Even if onli 100 habbos buy 150 credits a day thats £10500 a week. Now you tell me if you were making that sort of money a week would you close down >:S

One character on Habbo, such as an 'a' can be several characters of encoding, which would take years to figure out. So, if you're targetting that special someone so bad, then you must really be obsessed with them.

Sure, that's a good point, but you really think there's enough people losing furniture to stop buying credits? You've got to think about the thousands of people around the world using Habbo, and the majority of them buy credits. I don't think they're in danger if they lose some customers. Plus, I don't think investors would sell their shares, because of the sheer amount of people buying credits/HC...

People won't stop buying creds... The company is getting stronger and doesn't appear to be slowing down in profits. When it gets to the stage where people do stop visiting then the hotels can close and Mr.Habbo and Mr.Sulake can retire happy men. The profits are so great at the moment they don't need any investors/share holders.

They do not know any hobbas, staff or even any remotley famous habbos! THESE ARE THE REAL HABBOS - THEY TAKE HABBO SERIOUSLY. You see those thousands of players online! How many are incredibly rich? 100? 200? How many have HC? (habbo club) 1000-4000? How many have 30 credits of furni? Probably a hell of a lot more! Go on a quest on the front page? See all of the people in the entrance room? They are what we call PLAYERS - The ones who are trying to have fun, not bothered if they have 40T worth of furni or not!

People won't stop buying creds... The company is getting stronger and doesn't appear to be slowing down in profits. When it gets to the stage where people do stop visiting then the hotels can close and Mr.Habbo and Mr.Sulake can retire happy men. The profits are so great at the moment they don't need any investors/share holders.
Lol well the shareholders can control the company if they want. If one person/company or more put their shares together and it adds up to 51% they can do what ever they like with Sulake and Habbo. Its called the majority vote. It is how mergers happen. So if the investors want to change Sulake in anyway they can overrul the founders. It all depends who owns what amount of shares. So Sulake cannot do anything without the shareholders. The creators of Habbo/Sulake dont fully own Habbo/Sulake now so they best tread carfully.

But the truth is, it doesn't matter about that anymore. All it matters is being famous, and having your room popular. I know some nutter who had NO FURNI whatsoever, and by the looks never knew what Habbo was "It's a game.." he commented, but like: "its a g&me". Then, oddly enough, he had 14 people in his room :D

Now I am rich, I can't really say I'm not. Not rich rich, but I have alot of rares. And my room is NEVER popular, I'm not bothered.

Lol your all turning this into something its not which has caused it to go on for 11 pages of differential arguments. Habbo isnt closing here, now or anytime soon there are 16 Hotels owned by Sulake all of which bring in money and therefor can support the UK Hotel. Even if Habbo only have 100 habbos buying £1.50 worth of creds a day which isnt many out of over 9000 thats £10500 a week and with that money plus other money from merchandise and other Hotels they aint that badly off. PLUS!!! Again ive stated this over and over again in the Terms and conditions it clearly states that they can not be blamed for any corruption in the hotel, this includes scripting.

They wont, theyre not allowed. they have to sort it. if they close, thousands of people will sue them.

You cannot sue them, because as you accept the terms and conditions, it says that you do not own the furniture, they do, buy getting credits, they just give you the privalege of useing it. And Buying credits is optional, its not like you cant go without credits. If you buy credits thats just saying they can steal their money because you agreed to the terms.
