I've had my elite since Christmas 2007, no problems yet, I'm expecting some though, I mean, It's made by Microsoft, you have to expect problems..

I've had a premium since the first christmas it came out and I havn't had a RROD.

i 100% agree with that. it seems the only RROD people is either the unfortunate or the halo geeks who are on 24/7

It's basically got better hardware, better design and you get a way bigger HD which will save you money. :)

on weekends when im at a friends with my elite, we can be on Halo until like 5am. (nerd here :P)

Same mine aint blown or ever had red rings


I would take time dont do 5 hours at a time do 2 - 3 have give the xbox a break, Then go back on.

I played CoD4 on campaign just before february and played it from 8-11pm then watched a DVD on xbox which went until 1am then i fell asleep and woke up with on, done that 3-4 times now and still no problamos :)

I think its just luck/sod's law.
