Thanks, Adam.

Yes, but PCI cards are only used (or should be used) for the most basic of tasks or to go in servers which don't have inbuilt cards. In other words, they suck.

You could do with knowing twhich AGP it is as 4x and 8x cards will work in either a 4x or 8x slot, but a 2x lot can olny accept a 2x card.

Can you give me an example of an AGP card then please.

It says my AGP slot is being used aswell.

And its 4x.

Well it will be being by the graphics card you have now.

It all depends on how much you want to spend as to what you get.

Well I think the best AGP card is around £60

Nah, apparantly you can get an AGP version of a decent ATi card http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-095-HT&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=403

But it's probably better spending £60 or something on a 7600GT.

Hello,

Was just about to comment on the poor choice of cards they are suggesting - Okay the cards you've put forward are all AGP 8x ... do you really think that a 4x port is going to deal with that at all well, its the same type of bottleneck as sticking a core2 quad in a machine with PC133 RAM in. If the mobo only supports AGP 4x I wouldnt really recommend spending more than £25 on a card as you are hardly going to see any benefit in doing so.

Kind Regards,
