View Full Version : How do i improve my downloading speed?

Hey erm im downloading through azureus and like they take yonks to download like atm it says its gunna take from like 17 hours to 22 hours and keeps going from 22 kb/s to 9 kb/s when i usually download stuff after like another 2 hours of downloading it does tend to go higher and work quite fast but sometimes it doesnt im downloading like a 1 and a half gb file, does anyone know how to improve the speed? and dont say swop provider coz i cant coz my dad likes what were on.

idk how to speed them but mine are pretty fast average of 370kbs

370kb/s is quite slow for a download speed as the average is about 700kb/s so before trying to brag about something make sure it's actually good and your don't like an idiot for bragging about something poor.

To speed up your internet if you havn't connect the router into the BT Master socket (google) and make sure you don't have any unneeded phone wires etc. which can cause noise on the line making it slower.
