Hi basicially, I get reallly hungry and want snacks quite often, My dad says have some fruit or vegetables, but lately ive been eating no snacks at all well for the past 5 months, because I cant bare to eat the things I love because i will get depresive n stuff that i will get fat, because i do about 60 crunches, 60 sit ups, 20 press ups (on hands) and 10 press ups on fists but i doubt i even do the press ups right, I feel that doing all them would of been for nothing. Can somebody tell me a snack preferbly snacks which is like not fatning at all and is not really bad for you which isnt fruit or vegetables which is nice to get rid of those horrible cravings for crappy food which will make me fat!

 You can't get "fat" from just eating fatty snacks every so often. You're not going to suddenly immediately protrude, especially if you do regular exercise.

You wont suddenly become fat, just try to eat no more than 1 snack a day. :)

Have more than you would usually at mealtimes? Rather than 2 weetabix have 3 for breakfast, rather than 1 sausage roll for lunch have 2 and have even more spaghetti bolognese than you would have normally and have a bowl of cornflakes before you go to bed?

I suggest you have around 5-6 small meals a day, its great for your motabilism and should keep you sustained through out the day. Also doing crunches is fine as your core (abs) recover quickly but i think you should do press ups four times a week but with more sets and reps so its a 'less wasted' exercise. Also if your eating more calories than your burning then you will gain weight

This is an average day for me

Breakfast 8.00am - Cherios with 200ml of skinnedmilk
10.00am - Two chopped bannanas
Lunch 13.00 - Cut chicken/ham sandwiches/ two slices of whole meal bread with walkers sunbites or a salad
16:30 - Protien shake
Dinner 18:00 - low fat cottage cheese with Jacket patato

(Coming from a bodybuilder in training)

Hope that helped :D

All these fruit bars and 'healthy' snack bars are full and full of Frutose, glucose. They all have yoghurt, honey and a hell of a lot of preservatives and colours.

Tbh - you need to either have some self control and not snack on these fatty foods, or not snack at all. Like some people have said - Nuts, fruit, veg etc will fill you up. If you're 'hungry' you wont want a crap bag of crisps or a chocolate bar. They're rubbish that barely fills you up, and so you eat more. If you're hungry, and snacking - think; "What will fill me up?".
