I want to do something big...

For my girlfriend as she is leaving the town in a couple of weeks, So i wont be able to see her for ages. She wants to stay with me and try a long distance relationship which im willing to try and so is she.

Anyway, Before she leaves i want to do something big for her, To say a proper goodbye. Shes grounded until she moves, So it will have 2 be at school but I have no idea what to do. Could somebody please give me a few ideas?

We want to feel special like we're the only girl you ever think about.
Ring her parents, and tell them that you want to take her out. Be grown-up about it and say itd mean a lot to you. The effort it took will make her appreciate it even more.
I'd suggest you take her out to dinner, buy her beautiful flowers as well as something she can take away with her (perhaps something you've hand-made yourself). Take her out to a nice restaurant, not the corner burger joint...
And don't sound doubtful at all. When she says "do you think this will work" you say "of course, baby" NOT "um... I hope so".
I'm in a semi-long distant relationship, but we see each other pretty much every weekend (he lives 1hr 30mins away). It's very possible, and quite rewarding.
