Hello everyone :)

What are your opinions on pet euthanasia? Do you think its right or wrong?

I don't think it should be allowed but I admit I have done it once before and I feel bad at myself for doing it. It was with tropical fish but they kept having classic signs of dying (such as swimming upside down) and their skin kept peeling off etc, it was hard to watch (and I know you may think they're only fish but I think they're amazing!). I use a humane method of doing it, and it saves me money instead of the vet doing it (I hope I don't sound insensitive!)

Anyway, what's your views on it?

Well I think its wrong if the animal is healthy, but if it will put the animal out of suffering then its ok.

When our dog was dieing, the vet wanted to keep her in, so we decided to let her die in our arms than with strangers.

Of course if the animal is healthy then its animal murder and cruel.

If the animal is really suffering and will inevitably die as a result, euthanasia is the only option, and the injection is a humane method.

I think its stupid that animals get put down because no one wants them. Just because us humans the only intelligent life form on Earth, I don't think it gives us the right to decide what lives and what dosn't.

well, obviously, if they are in pain and there is nothing you can do for them it is the best option, they don't have a say in it, so rly, it's up to the owner.
