Howdy,

Been extremely busy lately! Finally done with exams and coursework for this semester at university, so I have all summer free (other then my job).

I haven't coded in about two months, when I usually code daily.

I need something to keep me busy during my extra freetime, that isn't loaded down by social activities! ha! smoking pot in the back of a van, thats social!

Anyways,

I am thinking about working on TehUpload again, and bringing it back. If you remember, it was very popular and was one of the original HxF uploaders along with Need2Upload and TehUpload.

Do you think it is worth it, to expand it, and put my time back into it, like the old days?

I liked TehUpload until you started putting all that AJAX crap on it. I just went to JustUpload when you did.

I don't want some stupid 'fancy' uploader. I'm there to upload files, not watch a coding parade.

Whats the point? A simple uploader fills the purpose of the site, maybe a user system were people can keep track of there files but thats about it, anything more would be a waste of your time.

Well i think it is neat, saves waiting for the page to reload. I like the fact it just says uploading then imediately displays the links for me when my file is uploaded

I'll be integrating Jaxer into this version of TehUpload.

I am currently in the process of changing the TehUpload domain to our new VPS running CentOS 5 + Jaxer.

Thats not AJAX thats just general speed.

That is Javascript right now, as the Flash file calls the function that displays the links, as well as AJAX to call the script that gets the file.

I said that is what it is right now.. learn to ******* read before you get a big head about it.

I told everyone the site was changing to a simple system, powered by PHP & Jaxer, and a normal upload site.

There will be extra tools, such as a multi-uploader, but those will be on seperate pages then your little "simple uploader."
