just wondering can yoiu get rid of it.

Find the process in task manager and terminate the ****er. =]

EDIT: Oh i thought you couldn't exit it, in your start menu find the "startup" folder and remove the program from there. that folder contains the things you want to open when your computer starts. If it ain't in that folder you'll have to un-install it.

Download CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com) and you can delete items from startup, so they don't automatically run when you boot up. Unless, the "toolbar" or whatever it is gives you the option to stop it running at start up.

Go to Add and Remove programs or whatever it is in Vista and install the program called "Acer Empowering Technology" to get rid of that bar.

or go to start, run, type msconfig then go to startup, and uncheck all the undesired Acer applications. They shouldn't be a bother.
