They did it all because of the 'real life traders' - blame them, not RuneScape.

The grand exchange makes merchanting impossible but it's a lot more convenient for obtaining items for quests etc. so that's a positive feature.

You killing a few monsters for slayer and end up getting like a few herbs rune med helm just alot of junk...

At grand exchange that can made in 100k in minutes

GE is one of the best updates made to runescape :\

Just the trade limit & Wilderness were a BIG mistake.

Who actually really cared if a few people real world traded, Jagex is worth millions.. they get enough money anyway..
