Hey, went to a X Factor Audition with a mate today (I didn't actually sing), and we waited 3 hours in the pouring rain outside, just to go inside and sit in the arena for another 7 hours.
The thing is, its not even to see the actual judges (Simon, Sharon, Dannii, Louie) it was to see some random music producers, which there was 20 of - We wasn't expecting to see the judges obviously but then we reliesed its TWO rounds before seeing them, not just the one.
So, we waited for 10 hours - Got drenched - Just for some snotty cow to say 'Your good but your too young'. First of all, why lower the age if they're not going to let any under 16's through (I mean my mate is pretty amazing, and she didn't even get the chance).
If your thinking about going in for X Factor and your under 16 - I would wait to be honest, because like 1/1000 under 16s get through. Fair enough, it was a great experience but it was pretty much a wasted day.
Ha, right - Thats me done.

It doesn't matter how old you are, Two people ahead of us were good - They didn't get in, its the image, your personailty and to be honest to depends on the 'judge' you get.

Kinda contradicted yourself there.
Funny how they let the really crap ones through to make good television. Then the really good ones, so if you're average/OK you wont get through!

Lol, Fair enough - But I'm saying you've got less of a chance if your 16 & under - In my eyes about 200 out of 4,000+ got through whilst I was there.
I think they need crap ones to make the show entertaining, but they should give people that are good more of a chance - Because if you went straight to the judges more then double of the people that got through today would have got through the actual judges. (If that makes sense!)

It's a TV show, it's not tehre to make people's dreams come true. The entire point of it is money, money, money.

You need to have a sob story if you're young like your liver exploding and you almost dying, or your parents dying and their will included wanting you to be on the X Factor. Some **** like that you can keep talking about on it. Or just sing some gayboy version of a song and say it's dedicated to some family member. It's so all the fat women that get sentimental spend money voting for you.

think, if 100,000 people go through to the judges.
thats like 200,000 minutes of the judges time.
200,000 minutes = 3333 hours
3333 hours = 134 days
thats if they worked 24/7. So because they could only work like 8/10 hours a day. it would take a year to audition everyone.
so basically thats impossible.
thats why they have producers.
Enrique.

Said that there was two stages before the televised auditions before (and Movieen was incorrect ).
