Awared For: Not Doing Homework On 3 Seperate Ocassions.

So I didn't turn up, and then I think she forgets a week later she puts a note to my form tutor in my pastrol and says that she has phoned my mum and I will be excluded from the class untill the homework is up to date, and I have done the project assessment.

So she books an AFTER-SCHOOL and I'm sitting there for 3:20 to 4:20 while I do all the homework while she is marking her work.

She so anoyying my teacher, she actually remembered me having an AFTER-SCHOOL Detention what a REMOVED

oh dear, that sucks. if we get logged forgetting homework 3 times we just get a letter sent home, the only time you have to stay after school is if you miss detention 3 times.

It's not illegal lol.

Mine have Year Managers which is a detention at lunch time, if you miss that you get After School.

If you miss that, its half day Isolation.

No its not illegal, some schools even give detentions on saturdays and sundays.

Mine does.
only normally if you miss lunchtime detentions. Or the maths teachers set up so if you dont do your homework to give in on a tuesday, we get kept in (maths is last lesson)

or if your really bad, or dont turn up for that its 3.30 - 5.00

My school gives after schools but not that often :P

My school does detentions after school first its 30 mins then if you don't turn up you get 45 mins and if you don't turn up to that you get 1 hour. If you don't turn up to that you get a saturday one. Then suspension if you don't turn up to that. I think. I've never got a detention so I don't know how they work that well.

Next is 'PD' which is 1 hour long but looks worst on your record.
Now we have 'Inclusion' which is like Isolation.
We did have 'Exclusion' where you had to stay at home, looks really bad on your record. But then the school figured they are having a good time at home so they made 'Incusion'. ;P
Luckly i got Excluded before they brought in Inclusion so i have no idea what thats like.
At detention is no biggie, dont worry and if you don't like it, do the homework. ;]

Yeah most schools do internals instead because it costs them a lot to exclude people.

An after school detention is only illegal if 24 hours notice is not given. If less than 24 hours is given the teachers can only keep us in 10 mins :) at our school they do 2 hour detentions for going up to the shop outside of school boundaries..

I used to be pretty loud and stupid at school probably up til yr 10/11
and i once had like 2 weeks booked of detentions lol i didnt go and they jsut gave up

isolation at our school was way worse i think
I guess you got the work done but it was just horrible lol and cold. :/

My old school has a police officer in it haha. If we didn't turn up to school she'd come round and get us.
Usually I only got 10-15 minutes detentions, I always had an excuse to get out. But the teachers were ok with it, there was nothing bad about them really.
